The goal of this project was to create a coherent visual identity for Thorvaldsens' Museum, a sculptural museum in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The new visual identity, inspired by the mosaics and tiles found within the museum, seeks to communicate the idea that Thorvaldsens is a rare gem within Copenhagen. My goal was to create a visual identity that reflects the museum’s historical charm while engaging the audience in a contemporary way.
By combining bright, inviting colors with bold typography, the identity appeals to the modern visitor while telling a story about the tiles and patterns found within the museum.
